Mediacom Communications Corporation is looking for a retention-focused sales/CS rep who handles inbound calls to prevent disconnects and downgrades. You will listen to customer needs, offer retention promotions, and educate customers on Mediacom Mobile to close on opportunities.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, multi-program navigation, and meeting retention targets while enjoying a hybrid work setup and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years customer service experience required, sales experience preferred.
• Customer-oriented mentality.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions; sales experience a plus.
• Strong consultative selling skills, including listening, discovery, objection handling, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Turn requests for disconnection/downgrade into save opportunities or sales.
• Apply Retention Department's mission to sell Mediacom services when possible.
• Actively listen to customer needs and offer retention promotions.
• Educate customers on Mediacom Mobile service and gain sales on inbound calls.
• Build customer loyalty by delivering legendary customer service.
• Complete disconnect, transfer, and seasonal downgrade orders and update accounts.
