Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support project management teams on construction initiatives. The role blends remote administrative planning with on-site coordination for projects in the Eastern Cape region.

You will manage schedules, documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. A related degree and 3+ years' experience, plus Procore/MS Project proficiency, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a project coordination or administrative role within construction.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects.
• Manage project documentation: contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals, change orders.
• Coordinate communication among project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Support site operations by coordinating material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project documents.
• Track timelines and budgets, flag deviations to the Project Manager.
