Job summary

The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey is seeking a Program Administrator of Community Based Doulas to oversee coordination, training, and evaluation of doula services in prenatal, birth, and postnatal periods. The role ensures program effectiveness, cultural responsiveness, and strong community partnerships while supporting doulas.

Salary range is $75,000–$85,000 per year with comprehensive benefits; full-time, on-site at the main office in Trenton, NJ.

Qualifications

• Maternal-child health experience and 3–5 years as a certified doula, midwife, or related role.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising staff and coordinating services.
• Familiarity with hospital settings and record-keeping systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing supervision to full-time and contracted doulas statewide.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and service standards for the program.
• Manage day-to-day operations of labor, birth, prenatal, and postnatal doula services.
• Match referrals to doulas based on client needs and doula skill sets.
• Mentor new doulas with experienced staff and maintain caseload timelines.
• Coordinate HR and finance documentation for staff.
• Support data reporting, grants, and funding compliance.
• Develop partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations.
