Job summary

OceanFirst Bank in New Jersey seeks a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to support the Commercial Loan Operations Support Supervisor in quality control and to serve as a service ambassador for internal and external customers.

You will process loan servicing requests, maintain account records, run daily LAS reports, monitor and reconcile ledgers, and assist with regulatory compliance and audits. The role emphasizes coaching the team and supporting various departments and branches as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan operations or servicing environment.
• Ability to process complex loan transactions and data entry accurately.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to loan operations.
• Attention to detail and ability to reconcile daily ledgers and reports.

Responsibilities

• Process high-level loan servicing requests and maintain account records.
• Handle payments, rate changes, and data entry across loan types.
• Monitor daily LAS reports and clear exceptions.
• Support regulatory compliance and monthly/quarterly audits as needed.
• Assist in research for subpoena requests and archival documentation.
• Coach team to meet service levels and ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with other departments and branches for issue resolution.
