OceanFirst Bank in New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented Post-Closing Loan Processor to support the Commercial Closing department. You will book new loans, renewals and extensions, and ensure documents are properly executed in the bank's core systems.

Responsibilities include reviewing closing packages, recording mortgages and UCC filings, coordinating with relationship managers and title companies, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

Formación

• General knowledge of the lending process and documentation; interpret policies and procedures governing commercial lending.
• Working knowledge of regulations governing banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organization policies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication with commercial customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in MS Office and loan documentation systems.

Responsabilidades

• Performs post-closing review of loan closing packages.
• Verifies documentation for loan type and collateral conformity.
• Validates closing practices and administration protocols for loan and collateral type.
• Reviews commercial loan packages for regulatory items (e.g., US Patriot Act, Beneficial Ownership).
• Assists Closing-Post Closing Manager in compiling data for regulatory compliance and audits.
• Maintains knowledge of nCino and Premier systems and department procedures.
• Recording of documents (mortgages, UCC filings).
• Works with relationship managers, the closing department, and title companies to ensure post closing documentation is received.
• Reviews closing or modification documents for consistency with system updates.
• Provides quality control with loan documentation and non-financial tracking reporting.
• Prepares documentation files for system scanning.
• Reviews daily department proof and reconciles general ledgers; researches and resolves outstanding items.
• Understands compliance with regulations governing banking industry, agency guidelines, and organization policies.
