WesBanco in the United States is seeking a Commercial Loan Closing Specialist for a hybrid role split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Work locations include Wexford, PA; Youngstown Main, OH; Defiance Main, OH.

The role ensures loan closing integrity, performs due diligence, handles documentation, loan booking and closing files for Commercial loans, and ensures conformity with credit approvals and bank policies. Strong detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures.
• Minimum of two years relevant banking experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial lending systems and loan documentation a plus.
• Prior experience with LaserPro or similar loan documentation software a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the integrity of loan closing, due diligence, documentation, loan booking and closing files for assigned Commercial loans.
• Ensure loan structure and terms conform to credit approval and bank policies and close prerequisites are in place.
• Order, obtain and review documents related to due diligence in collaboration with the Commercial Associate Banker.
• Assist in data collection from internal sources and other lenders to support banking regulation requirements.
• Coordinate closing portfolio for Commercial loans while managing risk in line with Credit Policy.
• Review loan documents with outside counsel to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare LaserPro and other closing documents per department standards.
• Prepare loan modification documents in line with policy.
• Discuss issues with department manager or legal counsel to develop solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
