Job summary

Arizona College is looking for an Admissions Advisor to support enrollment efforts at our Glendale, Arizona Allied Health campus. The role involves providing admissions information to prospective students, preparing communications, and representing the College.

After a 90-day period, the position becomes hybrid. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in admissions or related fields, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while upholding

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
• Organized, professional, and warm to prospective and current students.
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with college admissions procedures and student recruitment/retention issues.
• Experience with computerized systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective students, parents and the community via appointments, phone, email and other materials.
• Welcome prospective students by processing paperwork, interviewing applicants, arranging campus tours and following up with campaigns.
• Maintain recruiting operations by following policies and reporting changes.
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including VIPs.
• Advise students and families on educational opportunities, admission requirements and policies.
• Assist each lead to progress through the enrollment process with care and thoroughness.
• Conduct effective phone presentations and candidate interviews.
