Job summary

Grand Canyon Education, based in Phoenix, is seeking an International/Foreign Credential Admissions Counselor to be the first contact for prospective students and help enroll them in online degree programs. The role is hybrid in Phoenix, with onsite in the first 90 days, and a starting salary of $50,000 annually with significant growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related work experience considered.
• Outstanding time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Clear communication, both phone and written, with strong listening and follow-up abilities.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed with high emotional intelligence.
• Proficiency in computer tools; Microsoft Office Suite required; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to new and prospective online students via a phone campaign (100+ dials, 3+ hours of talk time daily).
• Introduce students to the online classroom and maintain detailed, confidential records.
• Provide counseling to prospective students through various channels (phone, email, text).
• Guide students through admissions, explain program requirements, transfer credits, payment options, and tech needs.
