Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Collections Specialist in Independence, OH. The role focuses on maintaining a healthy accounts receivable portfolio, resolving past-due invoices, and negotiating settlements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with weekdays only, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus 401(k) with company match and tuition assistance. Benefits start after 30 days.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and reconcile an account portfolio to maximize collections.
• Resolve past-due invoices and negotiate settlements; assist in non-payment issues.
• Coordinate with Cash Applications, Dispute Management, and Special Handling teams to resolve issues and review final demand notices.
• Maintain professional relationships with branch, account, and area sales managers and inform regional managers of issues.
