Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Client Manager in the Iowa City area to oversee client accounts, coordinate the marketing process, prepare proposals, and bind coverage. The role emphasizes service delivery, documentation accuracy, and proactive client support.

The Client Manager will work with cross-functional teams to drive agency goals, assess client risk programs, and provide strategic coverage enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or underwriting within commercial insurance.
• Familiarity with insurance markets, binding authority and underwriting guidelines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills to negotiate quotations and assess client needs.
• Ability to develop innovative business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing of a diverse book of business, ensuring accuracy and timely policy handling.
• Prepare submission information for marketing, including applications and schedules.
• Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and bind coverage per guidelines.
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business; prepare pre-renewal packets.
• Serve as the primary contact for identified clients and ensure prompt document preparation.
• Assess clients' risk programs and provide strategic recommendations for coverage enhancements.
• Provide risk management guidance during renewals and endorsements.
