Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Claims Manager to lead the Self-Funded claims team in a primarily in-office role with hybrid work options after training. You will guide day-to-day operations, ensure service quality for clients and partners, and collaborate with internal departments to optimize processes.

You’ll partner with the Claims Lead and QA to coach staff, manage workloads, oversee documentation, and produce monthly reports to Stop Loss carriers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5+ years of experience working in Group Benefits.
• 3-5 years of claims or production-environment experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Time management: prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leads the day-to-day operations and supports the success of assigned Claims team members.
• Provides coaching and performance feedback and partners with the Claims Lead for guidance.
• Collaborates with the Claims Quality team to monitor QA findings and support team development.
• Oversees the master list of groups/cases and filing for Stop Loss Claims.
• Manages client account assignments and monthly claims reporting to Stop Loss carriers.
