Job summary

Amwins Self-Funded is seeking a Claims Manager to lead a dedicated claims team, enhance day-to-day operations, and deliver outstanding service to clients and partners. This role is primarily in-office with the option to work from home up to two days per week after training.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of management experience and 3–5+ years in group benefits or claims, plus strong Microsoft Office proficiency. A collaborative, growth-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience, coaching and developing others.
• Bachelor's degree or 3–5+ years in Group Benefits preferred.
• 3–5 years of claims or production-environment experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: lead day-to-day operations and support assigned Claims team members.
• Performance Management: provide feedback, coaching and performance guidance.
• Quality Assurance Partnership: collaborate with QA to review audit findings and improve performance.
• Document Management: oversee the master list of groups/cases and contract parameters.
• Workload Distribution: assign client accounts based on workload.
• Claim Tracking: review claims and process reimbursements to Stop Loss carriers.
