Amwins Self-Funded in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Claims Manager to lead a dedicated claims team, oversee day-to-day operations, and deliver exceptional service to clients and partners. The role is primarily in-office with hybrid flexibility after training.

You will guide staff, manage workflows, handle claims submissions, reporting, and process improvements while collaborating with internal teams and external carriers. A strong background in group benefits and people leadership is ideal.

Formación

• 2+ years of management experience
• Bachelor's degree or 3–5+ years of experience in Group Benefits
• 3–5 years of claims or production-environment experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Time management: prioritize workload and meet deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Leads day-to-day operations of the Claims team and supports staffing, promotions, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as applicable
• Provides regular feedback, coaching and training in partnership with the Claims Lead
• Works with Claims Quality to review audits and monitor team quality trends
• Oversees master list of groups/cases and contractual claims service parameters
• Manages client account assignments based on workload
• Oversees filing process for Stop Loss Claims
• Serves as SME on complex claim submissions and guidance on submissions
• Conducts claim reviews and reports to Stop Loss carriers
• Produces monthly claims reporting and notifications to carriers
• Supports policy and process improvements for Claims operations
• Collaborates with Director of Claims for service delivery
• Builds relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Partners with Claims Trainer to address skill gaps and training
• Performs other duties as assigned
