Fuss & O’Neill is offering a 12-week paid summer internship in Land Development at its Williston, VT location. The role supports design teams within Civil & Survey, with hybrid work options and a focus on site design and permitting processes.

The internship runs 12 weeks, is full-time Monday through Friday during the summer, and emphasizes hands-on experience with real client projects and collaborative team environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Prior experience with CAD software preferred
• Ability to perform field work
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform basic site and drainage designs
• Implement Sustainable Site design principles
• Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications
• Provide construction administration support
• Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro
