The State of Iowa's Health & Human Services, Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services invites applications for a Child Support Case Manager (Job Classification: Child Support Recovery Officer). The role focuses on complex case management, collaboration with community partners, and facilitating support actions for families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; one year public contact work experience.
• Total education/experience equivalent to three years.
• Eighteen months public contact in state executive branch preferred.
• One year of experience with Child Support Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support establishment and modification.
• Communicates with community partners and other entities via calls, emails and written correspondence.
• Analyzes complex cases to determine actions to establish or modify support.
• Uses Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ICAR systems as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality as required by Code of Iowa.
