Job summary

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services, is seeking a Child Support Case Manager to join our team.

This role handles complex case management, collaborates with community partners, and supports families through paternity, medical, and order modifications. A driver's license and occasional travel are required; after training, you may work in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of education/experience required.
• Experience in public contact work is acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Ability to handle confidential information and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support orders.
• Communicates with community partners including human service agencies, employers, clerks of court, and attorneys.
• Analyzes complex case situations to determine actions to establish or modify support.
