Job summary

Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services seeks a Child Support Case Manager to oversee complex cases, coordinate with community partners, and ensure accurate, timely support actions. The role emphasizes confidentiality and professional communication.

The position supports a hybrid work arrangement with standard hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) in the Eastern Region offices, and requires a driver’s license and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking and ability to work independently on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex case management for paternity, medical and support orders.
• Communicate with community partners, employers, clerks of court, attorneys, and others to support program goals.
• Analyze complex cases to determine actions to establish or modify support.
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and learn ICAR or other systems.
• Maintain confidentiality as required by Code of Iowa.
