Job summary

Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services is hiring a Case Manager to perform complex case management for paternity, medical, and support establishment, and for modifying orders.

You will work with community partners, employers, clerks of court, attorneys, and other entities by phone, email and written correspondence, while upholding strict confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with relevant public contact experience.
• Experience in public contact work or case management is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support establishment, modification of an existing order and maintenance of support orders.
• Communicates with community partners, employers, clerks of court, attorneys, and others via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Analyzes complex case situations to determine actions to establish or modify orders.
• Uses Microsoft Office effectively and learns ICAR or other systems as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality per Code of Iowa.
