Job summary

Iowa Health and Human Services, Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services, seeks a Child Support Case Manager to handle complex cases, partner with agencies, and support families in Iowa.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Office applications and ICAR, and a commitment to confidentiality and service excellence. Hybrid work from home and office is available after training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and one year of full-time public contact work or equivalent
• Three years of education and/or full-time experience as described above
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch with public contact or in Child Support Services

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support establishment, modification of orders
• Communicates with community partners to achieve Child Support Program goals via calls, emails and written communication
• Analyzes complex case situations to determine actions to establish, maintain or modify support
• Uses Microsoft Office programs proficiently and learns ICAR and other systems
• Maintains confidentiality as required by the Code of Iowa
