Job summary

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Community Access, Bureau of Child Support Services is seeking a Child Support Case Manager to join our team.

You will perform complex case management, collaborate with community partners, and advise families on paternity, medical support, and orders. A hybrid work arrangement is available after training, with occasional travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in any field, and experience equal to one year of full-time public contact work.
• Experience in public contact work or client-facing roles.
• Ability to travel on occasion and hold a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex case management for paternity, medical and support establishment, modification of orders.
• Communicates with community partners to achieve Child Support goals via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Analyzes complex case situations to determine actions to establish, maintain or modify support.
