Job summary

Univar Solutions in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a CDL Driver and Operations Recruiter to partner with hiring managers and deliver best-in-class candidate experience across the US time zones. You will lead full-cycle recruiting for transportation and operations roles, build pipelines through proactive sourcing, and negotiate offers while maintaining a stellar candidate journey.

This hybrid role requires in-office Monday–Wednesday at our corporate HQ for Downers Grove and offers a salary range of

Qualifications

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for CDL driver and warehouse roles.
Strong direct sourcing, candidate engagement, and talent pipelining.
Ability to influence and consult leaders throughout the hiring process.
Experience evaluating talent, developing offers, and closing candidates.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruiting for transportation and operations positions from sourcing to close.
Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop hiring strategies.
Build and maintain high-quality pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking and referrals.
Assess candidates and make recommendations based on skills and fit.
Consult leaders on market trends, compensation insights, and best practices.
Facilitate interviews, debriefs, and hiring decisions to streamline the process.
Develop competitive offers to secure top talent and deliver strong candidate experiences.
