Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking experienced Care Coordinators for a 3-month contract in Morrisville, NC. The role focuses on patient support, benefits coordination, prior authorizations, and reimbursement processes. Training is onsite 4-5 weeks, followed by a hybrid remote schedule.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM EST. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, with standard benefits for temporary roles. Starts November 2 and closes Sep 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Hub, Patient Services, Reimbursement, Insurance, Healthcare Billing, or Benefit Verification experience.
• Prior authorizations, appeals, and medical/pharmacy insurance terminology knowledge.
• Healthcare call center or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance payers.
• Coordinate benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, enrollment, and patient support services.
• Guide patients through access, affordability, and reimbursement processes.
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines, SOPs, and privacy standards.
