Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking Care Coordinators for a Patient Support Program in Morrisville, NC. This 3-month contract role offers hybrid scheduling with onsite training and remote work after. Start date is November 2, with pay ranging $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

The role focuses on coordinating benefits, prior authorizations, enrollment, and patient support while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation. Excellent communication and healthcare terminology skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in HUB/Patient Services, Reimbursement, Insurance or Benefit Verification
• Knowledge of prior authorizations, appeals, and medical/pharmacy insurance terminology
• Call center or customer service experience in a healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems and work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance payers
• Coordinate benefits, prior authorizations, appeals, enrollment, and patient support services
• Guide patients through access, affordability, and reimbursement processes
• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and patients
• Manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accurate documentation
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines, SOPs, and privacy standards
