Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines with remote work and travel to Charleston, SC and/or Columbia, SC offices. The role requires an active P&C license and 2+ years of supervision/management experience.

Responsibilities include leading branch operations, implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and ensuring policy compliance. You will also participate in acquisitions and serve as Account Manager for a book of business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management / supervisor experience.
• Active P&C licensing CISR or CIC designation (preferred).
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Strategic Implementation: Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Financial Management: Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Budget Management: Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with leadership and sales teams.
• Culture Promotion: Promote IOA values and improve engagement.
• Process Improvement: Develop and ensure compliance with core work processes.

Education

High School Diploma

P&C licensing CISR or CIC designation (preferred)
