Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines to lead all branch operations, with remote work and periodic travel to SC offices. You will manage performance, budget, and policy implementation while serving as Account Manager for an assigned book of business.

Strong leadership and P&C licensing are essential. The role requires 5+ years in commercial insurance and 2+ years of supervision, plus a CISR/CIC designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of supervision/management experience.
• CISR or CIC designation preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and daily workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, costs and financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding; evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Recommend staff actions including succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with HR processes and policies.
• Establish productivity, quality and service standards; monitor performance.
• Promote growth and development of personnel; leadership development.
• Develop future branch operations leaders and promote IOA values.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions; monitor data performance.
• Maintain communication with Regional Director and sales leadership.
• Collaborate with 1099 sales personnel to resolve issues.
• Develop and enforce core work processes and company policies.
• Maintain high technical competence and industry expertise.
