Insurance Office of America is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines in the United States, with travel to/from Charleston and Columbia, SC. You will lead operations, implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and develop staff while serving as Account Manager for an assigned book.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial insurance and 2+ years of supervisory experience, holds an active P&C license, and may have CISR/CIC designation. Competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience.
• Active P&C licensing.
• CISR or CIC designation preferred.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operational team and manage performance.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Recommend staff actions, including acquisition and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with HR processes and policies.
• Establish and monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
• Develop future branch operations leaders.
