Red Clay Consulting is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist to connect Finance and Delivery, owning the project invoicing cycle from preparation to timely release. You will drive past-due balances toward collection and become a power user of Kantata and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The role requires an accounting background and billing experience; hybrid work in Dunwoody, GA, with 2–3 days in office. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Formación

• Accounting background with degree (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• 2+ years of billing experience, ideally project-based or time & materials.
• Advanced Excel; proficiency in Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; high work ethic.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Organized and autonomous; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ownership, initiative, and willingness to pitch in.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and release periodic project invoices (time-and-materials, fixed fee, milestone) based on approved data and contract terms.
• Partner with Project Management and Delivery teams; track and communicate pending and outstanding invoices.
• Record invoices, adjustments, and credit memos in Business Central, coordinating with Accounting for timely entry.
• Serve as primary escalation point for past-due invoices; monitor AR aging and follow up with customers.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes; report collection status to leadership.
• Build and maintain reports on billing, unbilled revenue, and AR aging; verify data across systems.
