Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to clients and customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process payments, credits, and adjustments; reconcile billing discrepancies.
• Maintain billing records and ensure all transactions are documented in the accounting system.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
• Distribute accounting transaction downloads from QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage AR collections and aging reports.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Review Statements of work and project setup to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain reconciliation of all Microsoft funding on client accounts.
• Ensure billing and accounting activities comply with applicable regulations and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Assist with sales tax, use tax, and other regulatory filing reconciliations through Avalara.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in billing and accounting workflows.
