Job summary

Motive Holding Companies LLC seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the full AR cycle—from billing and cash application through collections, credit, and audit support. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, and the Controller, using Dynamics 365 Business Central as our ERP.

You will oversee invoicing, verify pricing and tax calculations with Avalara, post payments, and manage collections and credit risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable experience.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• ERP experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar.
• Experience with Avalara tax calculation and exemptions.
• Solid GAAP revenue recognition knowledge.
• Experience with month-end close and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own full AR cycle from billing to collections and audit support.
• Post payments (ACH, wire, check, card) and reconcile AR subledger.
• Monitor aging, follow up on past-due balances, escalate high-risk accounts.
• Review customer credit applications and monitor credit limits.
• Train staff on AR processes and identify process improvements.
• Prepare AR confirmations and support revenue recognition testing for audits.
