Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Billing Analyst to support day-to-day member billing operations with a focus on accuracy and process improvement. The role collaborates with Member Services, Operations, Accounting, and Technology across hybrid schedules.

Based in NH or MA, the position requires in-person work at the Hampton, NH or Boston, MA offices on M/T/W, with TH/F optional remote work. Strong analytical, detail-oriented skills and knowledge of billing systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in billing operations or related functions.
• Experience researching and resolving transactional discrepancies and account-level issues.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Zoho Desk, or Salesforce to track and resolve inquiries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with subscription billing platforms such as Zuora.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile member invoices, payments, refunds, credits, and adjustments across billing systems.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure accurate account balances.
• Review billing activity for completeness and identify exceptions.
• Process account adjustments, credits, refunds, and other transactions per policy.
• Support month-end billing validation and reconciliation.
• Ensure transactions align with internal controls and SOX requirements.
