Altocare, operating through its trusted brands, seeks a detail-oriented Billing Accountant to join the accounting team. You will manage revenue, AR, and billing processes, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and timely close.

You will collaborate with the Director of Accounting & Finance, franchise teams, and payers to resolve issues, strengthen internal controls, and improve billing processes. The role combines analysis with front-facing billing duties.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience with journal entries, reconciliations, or close.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP including revenue recognition and accrual accounting.
• Experience with AR, billing, and general ledger interactions is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Own revenue, accounts receivable, cash application, and related accruals during monthly close.
• Post journal entries for revenue, AR, deferred revenue, and cash activity with proper support.
• Reconcile AR subledger to GL; investigate discrepancies and correct as needed.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor aging and collections; assist with billing disputes and cash applications.
