Elevance Health is seeking a bilingual Customer Care Representative I to join our hybrid team in the United States. You will handle routine inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims under supervision while coordinating with internal teams.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, data entry, and effective communication in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Occasional overtime and on-site presence will be required as business needs evolve.

Competenze

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and prior experience in an automated customer service environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish) or multilingual abilities are required.
• Must pass a language assessment.

• Responds to customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.
• Analyzes problems and provides information/solutions.
• Operates a PC/image station to obtain and extract information; documents information, activities and changes in the database.
• Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions to handle requests promptly.
• Researches and analyzes data to address operational challenges and customer service issues.
• Provides external and internal customers with requested information.
• Under supervision, handles routine follow-up calls and emails.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
• Requires limited knowledge of company services, products, insurance benefits, provider contracts and claims.
• Maintains focus while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates empathy and persistence to resolve issues.
