Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits with a concentration in leave of absence management.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ERISA and related laws.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.

Responsabilités

• Administers and coordinates leave programs (FMLA, short-term disability, workers' comp).
• Maintains leave records and monitors key dates.
• Coordinates with disability carriers for claims processing.
• Collaborates with HR Manager, Benefits Manager, and Legal on FMLA/ADA cases.
• Responds to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
• Processes benefit elections and reconciles invoices.
• Informs COBRA vendor of qualifying events.
• Supports new-hire benefits enrollment and orientation.
• Maintains HRIS data accuracy and E-Verify compliance.
• Manages onboarding/hiring in HRIS.
