Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Benefits and Leave Administration Specialist to administer employee benefits and coordinate multi-state leave cases from intake through return to work for a diverse workforce. This hybrid role supports enrollment, eligibility, and compliance with ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and state laws, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering superior employee service.

You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, carriers, and third-party administrators,

Qualifikationen

• Three (3) years of progressive experience in benefits, leave of absence, disability, payroll, or HR administration.
• Experience administering leave for employees in multiple states and working with third-party administrators is strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administers employee benefits and coordinates leave and disability cases from intake through return to work for a multi-state workforce.
• Coordinates leave status, documentation, pay, benefit continuation, and return-to-work planning with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, and carriers.
• Reconciles leave records across HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, vendor, and carrier systems; coordinates corrections with vendors and state agencies.
