Job summary

Sydecar in New York City is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive the sales pipeline. You will run campaigns, qualify leads, nurture prospects, and schedule appointments for the sales team in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The role is hybrid with three in-office days per week, collaborating closely with marketing to optimize outbound motions and improve conversions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in sales, customer service, or related field (1–2 years).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport over phone and email.
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products, services, and value proposition to communicate with prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads promptly via email and Zoom, sparking interest and understanding needs.
• Conduct research on prospective clients to uncover pain points and align solutions.
• Qualify leads based on criteria and set appointments for the sales team.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimize lead qualification and conversion.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of lead interactions and activities (HubSpot).
• Continuously strive to meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
