Tact in New York City is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative to drive outbound sales and build early deals. You’ll work in the office five days a week, learning quickly from a seasoned team and closing smaller deals on the spot.

No prior sales experience is required; a finance/economics/marketing degree helps. Expect a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strong earning potential and room for growth in fintech sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or marketing.
• Real work experience from high school or college (bartending, serving, retail, sales internship).
• You are competitive, want to win and are ready to outwork others.
• The phone doesn’t scare you; cold calling all day.
• You run your own day with minimal hand holding.
• You’re sharp and comfortable discussing numbers.

Responsibilities

• Outbound calls to business owners daily.
• In-office five days a week in Manhattan.
• Learn quickly from the sales leader and team.
• Close smaller deals on a single call and build a closing record.
