Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union seeks a Universal Banker Manager to lead Universal Banker I & II across multiple branches. You will coach, develop, and monitor performance, ensuring consistent service and sales execution while aligning with company standards.

You’ll travel between branches, manage staffing, onboarding, and performance reviews, and partner with the Area Service Manager on goals and strategy to drive member experience and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three to five years in retail banking or credit union.
• Minimum of two years in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Experience developing employees, managing performance, coaching sales and service.
• Knowledge of deposits, lending, branch operations and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and prioritization skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between branches.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and II across a branch cluster.
• Set performance expectations and conduct coaching/development discussions.
• Lead one-on-one meetings, performance reviews and development sessions.
• Address performance issues per policies with coaching and action.
• Partner with Area Service Manager for talent development and succession planning.
• Support onboarding, training, and integration of new hires.
• Promote service excellence and accountability across branches.
• Manage staffing schedules and coverage across branches.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and candidate selection.
• Travel regularly to provide leadership support as needed.
