Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker Manager to lead a cluster of branches, coach Universal Banker I and II staff, and ensure exceptional member service. This role partners with the Area Service Manager to drive performance, staffing, and development while maintaining production expectations across locations.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating schedules, onboarding new hires, and promoting service excellence across branches.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in a retail banking or credit union environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Universal Banker I and II employees within an assigned branch cluster.
• Establish clear performance expectations and maintain regular coaching and development discussions.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings, observations, performance reviews, development planning sessions, and recognition activities.
• Partner with the Area Service Manager to identify and develop high-potential employees and support succession planning efforts.
• Support onboarding, training, and integration of newly hired employees.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor staffing levels and communicate resource needs to the Area Service Manager.
• Promote consistent delivery of service standards and coach on member engagement and relationship-building.
