Job summary

Leidos Engineering in Walled Lake, MI is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support distributed line engineering projects in the Midwest and Northeast. You will work with project managers, lead engineers, and account managers within our Power Delivery Solutions group.

This role is hybrid: three days in the office and two days remote. The position starts as a contract-to-perm opportunity with potential to become a Leidos employee in about six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Or an Associate's degree with 2+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical tasks.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers to manage distribution line design projects.
• Manage overall project performance and reporting.
• Track cost, schedule and scope; develop recovery plans.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Create and maintain resource-loaded schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track client deliverables.
• Assist with bids, cost estimates and RFP responses.
• Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and AR.
