Job summary

Leidos Engineering has a PM I opening to work with lead engineers and account managers on substation projects for electric utilities across the Northern United States. This PM will be part of the Power Delivery Solutions division, delivering design and project management services nationwide.

The role supports a hybrid work environment with in-office collaboration and can be performed from Walled Lake, MI, Pittsburgh, PA or Chicago, IL, based on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or closely related discipline is required.
• A minimum of three (3) or more years of Project Management experience.
• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, P6).
• Demonstrated experience managing and reporting project financial performance, budgets, proposals, scopes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead project teams to complete engineering designs for electric infrastructure projects for utilities.
• Own overall project performance and reporting.
• Manage costs, schedule and scope within approved limits and develop recovery plans when needed.
• Ensure contract compliance and track client deliverables with engineering leads and managers.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to report progress, costs, schedules and risks.
