Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Associate Project Manager in Walled Lake, MI to support distribution line engineering projects across the Midwest and Northeast. The role is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 remote) and includes potential temp-to-perm conversion to Leidos.

You will assist PMs, manage schedules and costs, communicate with clients, and help prepare bids and invoices while growing within a PMO in Power Delivery Solutions.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or an associate with relevant project management experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on assigned tasks.
• Must track cost and schedule status of tasks.
• Proficient with MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers to manage various sized distribution line design projects for utilities.
• Accept responsibility for overall project performance and reporting.
• Ensure project costs, schedule and scope are managed with recovery plans as needed.
• Communicate with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
• Create and maintain resource loaded schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering Leads to track client deliverables.
• Assist with preparation of bid documents, cost estimates, and RFP responses.
• Complete monthly client invoicing, accruals, and AR processes.
