Job summary

Talener is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a prestigious investment firm headquartered in Greenwich, CT. The role blends on‑site and remote work, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote each week to support mission‑critical applications.

You will leverage SQL, Python, AWS, and Linux to troubleshoot, investigate incidents, and improve system reliability while collaborating with global teams to resolve complex issues. Strong communication with users is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Application/Production Support/SRE or similar
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and Python
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Linux
• Strong passion for Support Engineering and reliability
• Experience with log investigation and root‑cause analysis
• Experience diagnosing issues and collaborating across teams
• Strong communication skills to support users via phone, email, and in-person
