Job summary

LHH US is seeking a Senior Accounting Processor (Accounts Payable) in a hybrid environment with temp-to-hire potential. The role targets recent graduates or early-career accountants and offers hands-on experience in high-volume AP, using Oracle and Coupa, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

Responsibilities include entering PO-backed invoices, vendor inquiries, month-end close support, and journal entries, while developing proficiency in AP systems and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or currently completing degree coursework
• Recent graduate or entry-level accounting professional
• Internship, co-op, or contract accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Enter PO backed invoices accurately and timely into Oracle AP System and Coupa
• Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
• Review vendor statements and resolve invoicing discrepancies
• Support month-end closing activities and accrual processes
• Prepare and upload journal entries as needed
• Complete General Ledger account reconciliations
• Support audit requests by retrieving invoice documentation
• Analyze AP processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist during high-volume periods and provide support to team members
• Research and respond to P&L inquiries from operational and finance teams
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives
