Job summary

CRH is seeking an Accounts Payable Disbursement Analyst in the Shared Services center to optimize AP processes in a high-volume, SOX-controlled environment. The role emphasizes problem solving, continuous improvement, and collaboration with Procure-to-Pay leadership in a hybrid setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP within Shared Services, solid SAP experience, and strong Excel skills. This position supports vendors and internal customers with accurate, timely payments and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a Shared Services environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make confident decisions.
• Prioritization of competing priorities with a collaborative approach.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service.
• Experience designing and standardizing transactional processes.
• Experience in building products/construction industry practices preferred.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain a culture of continuous improvement to deliver effective AP processes.
• Remain abreast of best practices in AP processing and shared services.
• Use analytical tools to monitor, analyze and investigate inefficiencies or process failures to develop improvements.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly AP tasks and ensure compliance with processes, policies, and controls.
• Correspond with vendors and internal stakeholders and respond to inquiries.
• Identify root causes for problems and provide feedback on systems improvements or training needs.
• Drive automation over manual work when possible.
• Prepare support requested by internal and external auditors.
• Demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer experience.
• Complete AP reporting on invoice receipt, processing, payment, and exceptions.
