Uber Freight is hiring an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist II in Chicago, IL. The role is full-time, hourly, and hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week at 433 W Van Buren Street.

You will resolve invoice discrepancies, build shipments, and communicate with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payments. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of AP/AR experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience.

Aufgaben

• Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies using Uber Freight guidelines and contracts.
• Create shipments for non-managed freight per customer requirements.
• Understand account-specific requirements – charges, rules, carrier contracts.
• Provide support to Operations on financial issues related to accounts.
• Communicate with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricing on invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date customer business rules, policies and procedures.
• File tickets for issues using JIRA.
• Set up new customer/vendor locations in the TMS.
• Support teams with customer communications and full billing discrepancy resolution.
• Identify and resolve billing/process issues with Oracle & TMS.
