Humana's Enterprise AI organization seeks an AI Engineer to advance Generative AI initiatives, build robust AI modules, and ensure responsible deployment across Humana's healthcare ecosystem. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders to deliver scalable AI solutions.

The role offers a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 remote) with Tampa as one of the office locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's with focus on production-ready AI solutions.
• Experience with Agentic AI System Design and collaboration with MLOps/DevOps teams.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark and data analysis tools.
• Experience with ML frameworks (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and large-scale ML systems.
• Experience with language modeling using transformers and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• AI Design and develop AI solutions using Python and generative models, ensuring responsible development.
• Build autonomous AI agents to support reasoning and decision-making in healthcare.
• Embed AI into Humana systems, collaborating with business teams to scale and communicate capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-impact AI use cases.
• Develop and maintain advanced AI/ML models and monitoring capabilities.
