Humana, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to contribute to Generative AI initiatives, building robust AI modules and pipelines with a focus on responsible, scalable solutions in healthcare. The role collaborates with data scientists, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders to deliver high-impact AI systems.

The position offers a hybrid work style with 3 days in office and 2 days remote, and is based in a hub including Boston, MA. Salary range is competitive with annual bonus eligibility.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of applicable AI experience or Master's with 1+ year in production-ready AI solutions
• Experience with Agentic AI System Design
• Experience collaborating with MLOps and DevOps teams
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and data analysis/data mining tools
• Experience with ML frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience with high-performance, large-scale ML systems
• Experience with language modeling using transformers
• Experience with large-scale ETL

Responsabilidades

• AI Innovation & Responsible Generative AI: design and develop AI solutions using Python and generative models with emphasis on transparency and safety
• Agentic AI System Design: build autonomous AI agents to support reasoning and decision-making
• Enterprise Integration & Business Collaboration: embed AI into Humana’s systems and partner with business teams
• MLOps & DevOps Collaboration: implement best practices for deploying and maintaining AI models in production
• Execution of data science initiatives: design, develop, and implement data science projects
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain advanced AI/ML models and algorithms
• Design and implement robust monitoring for performance and reliability
• Create reports, projections, models, and presentations for stakeholders
• Experience with AI coding assistants
