Humana’s Enterprise AI team seeks an AI Engineer to advance Generative AI initiatives across Humana’s segments. You will build robust AI modules, ensure accountable AI practices, and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and policy experts to deploy scalable AI solutions in healthcare.

The role emphasizes responsible AI design, integration with business processes, and production-ready ML systems with a focus on safety and real-world impact. Hybrid work with Dallas option is available.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of applicable AI experience or Master’s with 1+ year.
• Experience with Agentic AI System Design.
• Experience with MLOps and DevOps collaborations.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark and data analysis/mining tools.
• Experience with ML frameworks like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with high performance, large-scale ML systems.
• Experience with language modeling using transformers.
• Experience with large-scale ETL processes.

Responsabilidades

• AI Innovation & Responsible Generative AI design and development using Python and LLMs.
• Agentic AI system design to support reasoning and decision-making in healthcare.
• Enterprise integration and collaboration with business teams; design for scalability and compliance.
• MLOps & DevOps collaboration for production deployment of AI models.
• Execution of data science initiatives from design to implementation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain advanced AI/ML models and algorithms.
• Design and implement monitoring for performance and reliability.
• Create reports, projections, models and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Experience with AI coding assistants.
