Memphis Business Journal is seeking an Advertising Account Executive in Memphis. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with flexible days, three days per week, to drive revenue with high-target prospects and existing clients.

You will develop customized advertising solutions, manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, and strive to exceed metrics while building lasting relationships with the region's business leaders.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales experience preferred; recent graduates considered.
• Strong ability to communicate, influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to manage short and long-term opportunities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Independent worker in a changing environment; team player.

Responsibilities

• Continually prospect and generate high-quality targets using our sales process.
• Meet key performance metrics weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Diversify client base by offering strategic revenue solutions.
• Develop and present customized advertising solutions.
• Manage sales pipeline and revenue gaps using Salesforce.
• Develop market intelligence and general business acumen.
• Network within the business community through sponsored events.
