Job summary

Leapfrog Brands, a fast-growing on-the-go drinkware company, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Associate to support invoicing, payments, and financial reporting. You will work under the Revenue Accountant, ensuring accuracy and compliance while applying strong analytical and Excel skills.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years of experience, with hybrid work at Lincoln Park, Chicago. Experience with Netsuite is a plus, and a collaborative, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounting/finance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Strong GAAP and data analysis skills.
• Proficient Excel; Netsuite ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and post customer invoices per policies.
• Collaborate with Revenue Accountant to streamline invoicing processes.
• Obtain and reconcile customer payout reports; maintain files and accruals.
• Identify and escalate deductions to the Chargeback Analyst as needed.
• Manage monthly aging AR report; follow up on overdue accounts and price diffs.
• Assist in financial reporting, audits, and compliance with standards.
• Support bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in special projects and provide backup for team.
